folk gig in the open and loss of mi sombrero

In my dream of last night I had a problem due to the loss of my hat. I was in a foreign country and there was a gig in the open. I was sitting in the first rank to listen to this folk band and I had put my hat on my left on a shelf. I wasn't really concentrate on the gig but something made me feel uneasy. I looked at myself and noticed that my right breast was showing entirely. I readjusted my clothes wondering how long it had been like this and thought that nobody could notice it.. apart from the band themselves. Then I saw one of the musicians leave the stage and make a pile of all sorts of hats. I immediately gave a look where I had left mine and it wasn't there anymore so I stood up and followed him. But he had some advance and I had to hurry if I wanted to rejoin him. He noticed that I was after him. He disappeared behind the wall until I could turn around it and get into the street. Walking quickly behind him I thought I would heil him but he stopped so I could see he had not my hat in the pile. I explained him and apologised thinking that he had it certainly hidden just after the wall in the bush and garbage which was there when he noticed I was after him. I've wanted to return but I was very far already and without noticing it I took the wrong way which was leading town instead where could be found the hotel/pension not the ranch/stadium where was the show. As I asked my way a woman in the shop told me that there at the square I could take a bus. But I had the fear to get lost again so I stopped at the bus stop and was secured by the people standing there who I recognized to be -and to go- to the hotel. I knew for sure after I asked confirmation. My hat was lost but it seemed less trouble than the one I should face if I was to lose my only marks here.
